The bar chart compares the proportion of households with internet access in three countries, labelled A, B and C, in 2010 and 2020. Overall, internet access rose substantially in all three countries over the decade. Country A consistently recorded the highest figures, whereas Country C remained the lowest, although it experienced the largest relative increase. In 2010, just over half of the households in Country A were connected (55%), compared with 42% in Country B and only 28% in Country C. By 2020, Country A had reached 88%, meaning that nearly nine in ten homes had access. Country B climbed to 79%, leaving it just nine percentage points behind the leader. Country C increased to 61%, narrowing but by no means closing the gap with the other two nations. In summary, although digital inclusion improved everywhere, clear disparities persisted, with Country C still trailing by more than twenty percentage points in 2020.
